The Ontario Chapter was delighted to host the 26th annual
Public Sector Management Workshop (PSMW 2013)
in Toronto this
past June…
which has been rated as either among the best or above
average by 84% of post-event survey respondents.
This year’s theme
was
“Financial Management in the Global Community”
and
it boasted over 300 participants and 31 acclaimed speakers from
both the public and private sectors. The food was delectable and
the entertainment was not only sublime but representative of the
local art scene.
The conference opened with a reception at the Art Gallery of
Ontario whereby participants had the opportunity to view the
Group of Seven
Collection. Monday evening featured a dinner
and the Honourable Pierre Pettigrew, Canada’s former Minister
of Foreign Affairs, in which he shared his view of geo-political
trends in the global economy. The Ontario Chapter is sincerely
appreciative of the organizing committee, volunteers, speakers,
sponsors and exhibitors who all made this event a huge success.
