The2013-2014FMICapitalChapter (FMI-CC) Professional
Development (PD) Day program is coming to a close with
both its final PD day and Year End Celebration scheduled
for Wednesday, June 11th. The PD Day focuses on
The
Road to CFO Model Implementation
in which participants will
hear from CFOs, DCFOs and those supporting these senior
executives on the departmental implementation of the new
requirements. The Year End Celebration will follow! Come
out and celebrate a very successful year with colleagues
and FMI-CC’s much appreciated volunteers! Don’t’ forget
to mark 2014-2015 Professional Development (PD) Days
in calendars, starting late September. The Chapter has
an excellent year lined–up, focusing on relevant strategic
financial management training and networking:

that the Chapter has been incorporated as a Federal Not-
for-profit Corporation. As a result of the incorporation, the
Chapter is reviewing and amending its By-laws which will be
available by December 2014. FMI-CC will also be processing
and reporting its financials through a cloud service.
In addition, FMI-CC Chapter Membership renewals
are underway for 2014-2015. The cost for membership is
$36.75. To check out benefits or to renew your membership,

A big thank you goes out to all PD Day Program
volunteers, Departmental Liaisons, SMEs and the FMI-CC
Board of Directors for their valuable input and expertise.

FMI Capital Chapter Past-President, Ken Kocia, presents a donation

and Capital Chapter Volunteer. The donation was given on behalf
