Alexandre Cavuoti, IGF-Montreal
Alexandre Cavuoti was intro-
duced to FMI in Quebec City
at the Public Sector Manage-
ment Workshop in 2008. He
was impressed by both the
quality of the presentations
and their relevance in terms of
professional development—all
occurring in an atmosphere of
true camaraderie. In 2011, as
soon as his professional obliga-
tions allowed, Alexandre joined
the Board of Directors of the Montreal Chapter, and this year
succeeded Guy Ménard as Chapter President. With the sup-
port of its Board members, the Chapter continues to success-
fully tackle current challenges and ensure its viability as a main
source of professional development for the public sector.
Alexandre Cavuoti, CPA, CGA, holds a Master of Laws,
Taxation option, from HEC Montréal and the University of
Montreal. He recently retired from Revenu Québec where he
headed up the expertise and training service of the Direction
générale des entreprises. Before joining the management staff,
he had served as a business auditor, an official liaison officer
with international financial centres in Montreal, and a taxation
research officer. During the 1980s, he was also a lecturer in
taxation at the Université du Québec à Montréal.

Heather’s extensive experience in corporate business at or-
ganizations such as Pfizer Canada and Oracle Corporation
contributed to her award-winning career in sales and leader-
ship at an international staffing firm. Her next executive role
in sales was with an Ottawa based professional staffing firm
which cemented her belief in the importance of supporting
the local economy.
Most recently Heather has devoted her time to supporting
organizations in the not-for-profit sector, culminating in the
role of President of the Board of Directors at The Financial
Management Institute, Capital Chapter.
Heather is now the President and Founder of The Right
Door Consulting & Solutions Inc., where she will continue to

foster her strong business relationships and support both her
clients & consultants, many to whom she calls friends.
Phil Creaser, Regina Chapter
Phil Creaser joined the Regina
FMI Chapter Board in 2007 as
the board liaison to the 2009
PSMW organizing committee
and as a member of the PSMW
organizing committee. In 2010
he volunteered to be vice presi-
dent of the chapter and became
president in 2013. Phil is cur-
rently employed as an IT risk
consultant with KPMG LLP.
Here he spends much of his time reviewing IT and Financial
controls in government organizations. He also spends time
doing risk, strategy and governance reviews, again mainly in
government. Prior to joining KPMG, Phil sent 30 years with
the Provincial Auditor of Saskatchewan as a financial, IT, and
performance auditor. Phil is active in the community and is
currently treasurer of the Oxford House Society of Regina a
not for profit agency that provides low cost housing to recov-
ering alcoholics and drug addicts.
